Prom 2008!!

Omg, so prom yesterday was just AMAZING!! Honestly, it was SOO much fun, I had the time of my life haha I can't believe I'm not gonna see all those people again, I mean obviously I'll keep in touch with my close friends & we'll still go out together & stuff, but all those people that I sorta knew & loved but never really got to spend a lot of time with are just gonna be gone now...its so sad .

On a brighter note, I really can't describe how much fun I had yesterday! It was really just great & we took like 200+ photos lol yes, really!

Oh yeah, & in the end I changed my bag because when I tried it on it no longer seemed to match? I think its cos the earrings were silver, oh yeah & I took a coat instead of the black stole, but ended up using my friend's pashmina (which luckily matched perfectly) when it was cold!

Mirror mirror...

Hey everyone, I know I haven't blogged in a while - v. sorry but I've been so busy preparing for my final Physics exam which was today (they're finally all over!!!) & Prom which is tomorrow night! I'm so excited, it should be really fun & I'll defo post loads of pics of the night as soon as I can! Until then though, I do have some Prom-prep photos!

Oh yeah, & yesterday I went to get a spray tan at my salon, its the first time I've ever done that & it was really good, although I'm still feeling slightly worried about how fake it looks haha, hopefully it'll be more natural-looking by tomorrow!

Fashionably Late? Not quite so...

Hi, so last night I went to the movies and watched...SATC. Yes, yes, I know, I should get a tellling off for not watching til so late but I've been so busy with all my exams & preparing for Prom that I just didn't find the time! So anyway, the movie was truly fabulous (as probably all of you already know) but I won't go on about it because I know how much ever other blog, magazine, tv programme etc has been & even though we can never get bored of it, I don't think I have something to say that hasn't already been said!

So anyway, before the cinema we went out for dinner & I had some gorgeously delicious stuffed pepper thing - yum! Here's its remains:



Just a bit of garnish & the top bit *which isn't meant to be eaten ahem*, you can tell it must've been good.

Finally... <3

Heyy everyone, so I finally found a prom dress! Or should I say the dress? haha, either way I'm one step closer to the end of my secondary school days...very exciting & somewhat daunting!

Anyway, I went out this afternoon with my mum & it was quite funny because I was talking on the phone earlier in the day to my best friend, & she was telling me about the dress she got & at one point I actually realised that it was a dress I was very close to buying on one particular outing!! I'm very glad I didn't get it know cos it would've been crazy if we ended up wearing the same dress!!

Yeah so I got the dress from T.K.Maxx - I actually found like 3 other possibilities but in the end settled for this one, I was actually quite surprised by how many nice ones they have cos I normally have to rumuge quite a bit to find something good! Anyway, I've got pictures of the dress & the other eliminated options. I am really so glad that I finally got it, I thought I'd end up having to wear some old manky dress of mine haha

Tell me what you think of 'the one' & whether I made the right choice!?

College/Sixth Form/Senior/??

So I might be getting ahead of myself a bit, but I can't help it! I'm just too excited not to blog about outfits for college! Oh yeah, and just so everyone knows, 'college' doesn't refer to 'university' in the way it does the US. I think its kinda like senior in high school? I'm not really sure but in the UK college refers to sixth forms, and 'University' is the US's 'college' if that makes any sense lol

Anyway enough of that, on to the outfits. After all, I only have like 2 months & a half left and I won't really have time during the summer to think about this! I used that brilliant site which I'm sure loads of you know (polyvore.com) to come up with some little inspirational collages.

I really love this site its so handy and much easier to use than photoshop. Its a lot of fun too so I definetely recommend it! I'm also really happy cos at a lot of sixth forms you have to wear full uniform but at the one I'm going to you can basically wear anything & any colour so long as its 'smart'. This basically means you can't wear t-shirts or jeans! I think I'll probably stick to black and white most of the time though! Tell me what you like & what you don't :)

Au Naturel

Hey girlies, so I'm finally back with some piccys! Although I regret having to say they're not of any outfits! Oh well; on Saturday we took trip to Windsor which was lover-ly (a la MFL) and I took some very beautiful photos of the landscape, so many nature photo ops!

Anyway, I didn't manage to take a decent picture of my outfit (so busy with the deer you see, yes I did say deer) but there was a lovely carriage with some kind of royality-honourable-je-ne-sais-pas-qui in it and I did manage to take a picture of that!

Apart from that I've just been revising & relaxing these last few days as I have my last exam in exactly one week now. I've also found myself thinking more & more about college! I should be thinking about Prom & the summer hols but I can't help but want to start college prep! I've already started making lists of what I need & what I have lol
