Prom 2008!!

Omg, so prom yesterday was just AMAZING!! Honestly, it was SOO much fun, I had the time of my life haha I can't believe I'm not gonna see all those people again, I mean obviously I'll keep in touch with my close friends & we'll still go out together & stuff, but all those people that I sorta knew & loved but never really got to spend a lot of time with are just gonna be gone now...its so sad .

On a brighter note, I really can't describe how much fun I had yesterday! It was really just great & we took like 200+ photos lol yes, really!

Oh yeah, & in the end I changed my bag because when I tried it on it no longer seemed to match? I think its cos the earrings were silver, oh yeah & I took a coat instead of the black stole, but ended up using my friend's pashmina (which luckily matched perfectly) when it was cold!

Mirror mirror...

Hey everyone, I know I haven't blogged in a while - v. sorry but I've been so busy preparing for my final Physics exam which was today (they're finally all over!!!) & Prom which is tomorrow night! I'm so excited, it should be really fun & I'll defo post loads of pics of the night as soon as I can! Until then though, I do have some Prom-prep photos!

Oh yeah, & yesterday I went to get a spray tan at my salon, its the first time I've ever done that & it was really good, although I'm still feeling slightly worried about how fake it looks haha, hopefully it'll be more natural-looking by tomorrow!

Fashionably Late? Not quite so...

Hi, so last night I went to the movies and watched...SATC. Yes, yes, I know, I should get a tellling off for not watching til so late but I've been so busy with all my exams & preparing for Prom that I just didn't find the time! So anyway, the movie was truly fabulous (as probably all of you already know) but I won't go on about it because I know how much ever other blog, magazine, tv programme etc has been & even though we can never get bored of it, I don't think I have something to say that hasn't already been said!

So anyway, before the cinema we went out for dinner & I had some gorgeously delicious stuffed pepper thing - yum! Here's its remains:

Finally... <3

Heyy everyone, so I finally found a prom dress! Or should I say the dress? haha, either way I'm one step closer to the end of my secondary school days...very exciting & somewhat daunting!

Anyway, I went out this afternoon with my mum & it was quite funny because I was talking on the phone earlier in the day to my best friend, & she was telling me about the dress she got & at one point I actually realised that it was a dress I was very close to buying on one particular outing!! I'm very glad I didn't get it know cos it would've been crazy if we ended up wearing the same dress!!

Yeah so I got the dress from T.K.Maxx - I actually found like 3 other possibilities but in the end settled for this one, I was actually quite surprised by how many nice ones they have cos I normally have to rumuge quite a bit to find something good! Anyway, I've got pictures of the dress & the other eliminated options. I am really so glad that I finally got it, I thought I'd end up having to wear some old manky dress of mine haha

Tell me what you think of 'the one' & whether I made the right choice!?

College/Sixth Form/Senior/??

So I might be getting ahead of myself a bit, but I can't help it! I'm just too excited not to blog about outfits for college! Oh yeah, and just so everyone knows, 'college' doesn't refer to 'university' in the way it does the US. I think its kinda like senior in high school? I'm not really sure but in the UK college refers to sixth forms, and 'University' is the US's 'college' if that makes any sense lol

Anyway enough of that, on to the outfits. After all, I only have like 2 months & a half left and I won't really have time during the summer to think about this! I used that brilliant site which I'm sure loads of you know (polyvore.com) to come up with some little inspirational collages.

I really love this site its so handy and much easier to use than photoshop. Its a lot of fun too so I definetely recommend it! I'm also really happy cos at a lot of sixth forms you have to wear full uniform but at the one I'm going to you can basically wear anything & any colour so long as its 'smart'. This basically means you can't wear t-shirts or jeans! I think I'll probably stick to black and white most of the time though! Tell me what you like & what you don't :)

Au Naturel

Hey girlies, so I'm finally back with some piccys! Although I regret having to say they're not of any outfits! Oh well; on Saturday we took trip to Windsor which was lover-ly (a la MFL) and I took some very beautiful photos of the landscape, so many nature photo ops!

Anyway, I didn't manage to take a decent picture of my outfit (so busy with the deer you see, yes I did say deer) but there was a lovely carriage with some kind of royality-honourable-je-ne-sais-pas-qui in it and I did manage to take a picture of that!

Apart from that I've just been revising & relaxing these last few days as I have my last exam in exactly one week now. I've also found myself thinking more & more about college! I should be thinking about Prom & the summer hols but I can't help but want to start college prep! I've already started making lists of what I need & what I have lol

Hey, sorry for not posting the last few days - I had exams so I was concentrating on that. I'm almost on holiday now! I only have one last exam which is next monday which means I've got a whole week to revise for it which is good. & Prom is the day after the exam and I still have to find a dress! Luckily I've got a bit more than a week to do that & revise so I should be able to sort myself out. I'll update later, hope everyones having a good time! xoxo

Fashionably Nervous

So today was the last day of revision for my exams tomorrow! I gotta say once again I've found it slightly hard to concentrate but I did quite a bit of revision & I know what its all about so I guess I'll do fine. Honestly, I cannot wait until 14:15pm tomorrow! Then I'll only have 2 minor exams left (French Writing & Core Physics). French is like my second language so that won't be too hard on Thursday, & Physics is multiple choice & I have a week to revise for that one exam! Anyway, I did go out for a breather today and I saw a nice dress I liked but in the end the price wasn't worth it for the quality. Don't you just hate it when somethings pretty but overpriced & rubbish quality? If I'm going to splurge on something, it has to last! I was mainly looking for a prom dress but didn't find anything worthy of my last secondary school function before I go to college! At the moment I have no idea of what I'm wearing or looking like (make up/hair etc) apart from my shoes. Which I guess is better than nothing, right? For my birthday this year I was bugging my parents for months about Louboutins, and in the end they actually got me a pair! I got to choose them too, and decided simple black pumps were the best option as I could wear them at any time, for any occasion & in any season! Another Day of (semi)Revision

Heya, so today once again I spent most of it at home trying to revise for my exams this week. I'm not really that nervous anymore cos I've already had most of my exams and I'm totally used to them now! In a way this is good cos I used to get SO stressed out lol but now its like no biggie. On the other hand, it also means I let myself get distracted more easily (see rest of post) which isn't such a great thing! Anyway, later on in the day I went to my local park with my mum for a walk & the only thing we bought was... dinner lol yes, chinese - yum! haha Anyway, I also had time to conjure up a little collage of some stuff I need for this summer which is posted below. Last Friday

Hey, so last Friday I went out with S (as I already mentioned) to look for a few things. My camera batteries were totally flat so we only took pics with hers and thats why I didn't get them til today. Anyway, we went to Portobello Road and then moved onto Oxford Street a little later. It was the first time I went to Portobello in a really long time - I probably haven't been since I was like 5 or something ! It was really fun apart from the fact that my shoes were absolutely killing me and I came hope with totally rouged feet! lol Here's the pics from that day (click to zoom), I'll post today's stuff later xoxo

Confusion

Hmph. So today I was supposed to go to History revision at school (yes even though it was the weekend, its not that I got confused about) but I ended up going at 1 even though it was supposedly at 10! I don't know how the hell I got it mixed up. As far as I knew, it was defo at1, there was never any question about it for me. I had a timetable and it said History revision, Sunday 8th June, 1.30-4pm!! So anyway that really frustrated me (as you can imagine) & I ended up having to come home & do revision here where I kept on getting distracted (see uber-fashionable blog list on the right!) & didn't do alot but enough not to feel guilty. Whatever, anyway, my outfit kind of reflected the day & wasn't very good either, piccys: ^Well at least I got to use the nerd specs! xoxo

Mini Shop

Hey, so today I went out to High Street Kensington and bought a couple of beauties. Yesterday I broke my fav sunglasses and after spending the whole day with S searching for those Clear Lensed Wayfarers by the time I found them I was broke from buying other things lol Anyway, I went out for them again today (yes, I was determined) and finally bought them! Yay! Originally I found them in Topshop but the Urban Outfitters version was much cuter, so I opted for them. I also had to buy new sunglasses, even though I have other pairs - they WERE my favourite after all and I felt bad about having -1 pair! I also got a cute pair of scarves from HM and a much-needed mirroir. Here's some pics:
